As is typified in the jazz tradition, Brownman likes to "call tunes" on stage, rather than use a fixed and standardized set list, often reading the audience and making on the fly decisions.  This brings a more organic feel to sets and allows the trio to deeply sonically explore tunes.  Below is a list of tunes Brown will usually call from, creating a mix between his own originals & uniquely re-invented & re-worked jazz standards (all standards the ensemble plays features specific arrangements, and are never "stock" renditions) :

- 1 Red Clay (Freddie Hubbard) - w/ a hip-hop ala Tribe Called Quest
- Wongee (Brownman) - funkified Cuban groove
- Neo-Terra (Freddie Hubbard) - medium funk/disco
- Black Satin (Miles Davis) - fast funk ala Weather Report
- Four (Miles) - medium boogaloo vibe
- Jean Pierre (Miles) - dark, foreboding hip-hop
- Footprints (Wayne Shorter) - we do it in a funkified 4, instead of 6
- Chameleon (Herbie Hancock) - faster than the original, more electronic
- Night & Day (Cole Porter) - usually as a funkified samba
- Song For My Father (Horace Silver) - as a Cuban cha-cha-cha
- A Night In Tunisia (Dizzy Gillespie) - funky boogaloo vibe
- Take the A-Train (Duke Ellington) - w/ a drum'n'bass vibe
